Agnis Peña Toro, M.A., LMHC

Agnis is a trauma psychotherapist. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University (Cambridge, MA). She has more than ten years of experience working at community mental health, public schools, non-profits organizations, and private virtual psychotherapy settings. ​ Agnis is a certified Ketamine assisted psychotherapist (by Journey Clinical and Fluence), and has completed trainings on expressive art therapies, IFS level 3 (Internal Family Systems), somatics psychotherapy, attachment/relational trauma and disturbances, polyvagal theory, DBT, emotional eating, native and indigenous traditions for mental health, power and privilege, and RLT (relational life therapy). She brings a holistic and systemic framework into her work with clients that prioritizes the body, mind and soul/spirit connection as well as the macro socio-cultural systems in which each individual lives. ​ Agnis loves to travel and learn about other countries and cultures’ worldviews, ancestral healing, an different perspectives in life. She is a lover of the Caribbean Sea, Ethnic cuisines, the arts, dancing, and music.
