Ashvind Adkins Singh

Charlottesville, VA, USA
Mar 13, 2025

My journey into the world of healing began in the South Pacific, where I was immersed in the wisdom of complementary and alternative medicine. Watching my grandmother, a healer who combined generational Ayurvedic knowledge with insights from both Eastern and Western traditions, I learned that healing the body, mind, and spirit often requires a blend of approaches. I carry forward her lessons in using plants, roots, and herbs to alleviate suffering, alongside her openness to integrating diverse healing modalities. A childhood shaped by travel further broadened my perspective. Growing up with academic parents, I had the privilege of experiencing cultures across the globe. This exposure taught me that while the methods of healing may vary, the underlying goal is universal: to ease suffering and foster connection within individuals, families, and communities. After moving to the United States, I deepened my understanding of health and healing through academic studies and hands-on experience. I have worked with individuals, families, and communities navigating challenges such as disabilities, mental health issues, addiction, incarceration, and more. These experiences, often rooted in Western frameworks, have enriched my integrated approach to healing. Today, I bring a complementary, holistic style to my practice. I believe that each of us carries an innate capacity for healing. My role is to help you reconnect with your inner healer and discover the path that works best for you. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your suffering and cultivate balance and well-being, not just for you, but for the community that surrounds you. Healing is a collaborative journey, and I am honored to walk it with you.
