Dr. Laura Pantaleo is a licensed clinical psychologist based out of Brooklyn, New York. She specializes in individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She also works with parents of young children and adolescents to provide parent training. Her areas of expertise are in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, and OCD as well as managing general life stress or transitions. She weaves her DBT and CBT training into integration work to support people in processing their psychedelic experiences as well as focusing on related behavior change.

Laura is a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) and licensed clinical addictions specialist (LCAS). Laura is licensed in NC, FL, and VT. She is director of the KAP program for Salem Counseling and Consulting in Winston Salem, NC. Laura is trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic therapy and integration (PTI), and psychedelic harm reduction (PHRI), and has completed MAPS’ MDMA-assisted therapy practitioner training. Laura is a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP-II), trained OCD provider, and trained provider for adult autism and ADHD assessments. Laura is deeply passionate about helping those with treatment-resistant mental health symptoms find relief through creative and evidence-based approaches. Laura is in network with several insurance companies and many services are covered; she offers sliding scale options in effort to increase access to services for those who would otherwise be unable to engage in treatment. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor and the Lead Therapist at Illumma who has extensive training in ketamine, including both individual and group ketamine certificates from the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI). Utilizing ketamine-assisted therapy, Laura supports individuals, groups, and couples, as well as adolescents and their families across a wide range of presenting concerns (such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relational and existential issues, and more), identities, and backgrounds, including neurodivergent and LGBTQ folks. Laura is passionate about working alongside those who have experienced developmental trauma as well as other therapists who are struggling. She hosts ketamine-assisted therapy retreats in addition to her sessions at the clinic.
